Privacy Policy

Last updated: 10/10/2026

Neodente respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, what we use it for and what your rights are, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Portuguese Law no. 58/2019.

1. Data controller

Clínica Dentária Neodente, Lda., Tax ID (NIPC) 503 053 880, with registered office at Rua Manuel Agro Ferreira 87-C, 2825-364 Costa da Caparica, which operates the Neodente clinic. Contact for privacy matters: neodente.cd@gmail.com · +351 21 291 2006. To exercise your rights, please use these contact details.

2. What data do we collect?

  • Booking or contact form: name, telephone number, email address, reason for the appointment, preferred time and the message you write.

  • WhatsApp, telephone and email: the data you send us when you contact us through these channels.

  • Browsing the website: technical data collected by cookies, as set out in the Cookie Policy.

Please do not send detailed clinical information through the form. Health data is collected and processed at the clinic, in the context of the appointment, with the applicable professional confidentiality safeguards.

3. What we use the data for and on what legal basis

We use your data to respond to your request, to book, confirm or reschedule appointments and to answer questions about insurance, agreements and terms. In these cases, the legal basis is taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).

If you give your consent, we also use your data to send you information and communications from the clinic. If you accept the relevant cookies, we also measure website usage and campaign performance through Google Analytics and Meta Pixel. In these cases, the legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.

We also process the data needed to comply with legal, tax and regulatory obligations (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR).

4. How long we keep the data

Data from contact requests that do not lead to an appointment is kept for 12 months and then deleted. Data relating to people who become patients is then subject to the retention rules for clinical records. Data processed on the basis of consent is kept until consent is withdrawn.

5. Who we share the data with

We do not sell or pass on your data to third parties for commercial purposes. The following may have access to the data, only to the extent necessary:

  • providers who give us technological support, such as website hosting (Wix), our email service and analytics and marketing tools (Google Analytics and Meta Pixel), the latter only if you accept the relevant cookies, who process the data on our behalf;

  • WhatsApp (Meta), when you choose to contact us through that channel, in accordance with the service's own privacy policy;

  • insurers or health networks, when you ask us to confirm the terms of your plan;

  • public authorities, when required by law.

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. In such cases, the transfer is carried out with the safeguards provided for in the GDPR, such as the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

6. Your rights

You may, at any time, request access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing or portability, object to processing and withdraw any consent you have given. To do so, contact us at neodente.cd@gmail.com. We may ask you to confirm your identity.

If you believe that your rights have not been respected, you can file a complaint with the National Data Protection Commission (CNPD) at www.cnpd.pt.

7. Minors

Appointment requests for minors must be made by their parents or legal guardian.

8. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or disclosure.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The current version is always available on this page, with the date of the last update.
