Dr Cláudio Catran

He founded the clinic in 1992 and still sees patients here every day. He has practised in Portugal since 1988 and has been Neodente's Clinical Director since it opened. He focuses on oral and functional rehabilitation, with training in digitally guided implant surgery, bone grafts and autologous platelet concentrates. He has also practised in London and Dublin, registered with the General Dental Council and the Irish Dental Council.
Dr Gonçalo D'Angelo

The most demanding surgical cases go through him.
He graduated in Porto in 2014 and spent around five years practising at the Teaching Hospital of Fernando Pessoa University. At Neodente since 2020, he focuses on implant surgery, the removal of impacted teeth and more complex surgical cases. He also performs periodontal plastic surgery, including grafts and corrections of the gum tissue.
Dr Eduardo Pinotti

Treats root canals and gives the tooth back the look it had before.
He graduated in 1992 and has been registered with the Portuguese Dental Association since 2001. A long-standing colleague of Dr Cláudio, with whom he shares training in Endodontics, he rejoined the team in 2024. In 2023 he completed training in Adhesive Oral Rehabilitation with Ceramic Laminates.
Dr Deyvison Jesus

Perfects smiles with digital planning, at any age.
He qualified in 2015, completed training in Orthodontics in 2019 and an Integrated Master's in Dental Medicine at Egas Moniz University Institute in 2021. At Neodente since 2023, he works with clear aligners and Functional Jaw Orthopaedics, monitoring jaw development during the growth phase.
Dr Joana Martins

A child's first appointment shapes a lifelong relationship.
She graduated from the University of Lisbon in 2019 and dedicates her practice to Paediatric Dentistry. She joined Neodente in 2026, carrying on an area with a long history at the clinic. She keeps up continuous training, including the baby's first 1,000 days, tongue-tie, frenectomies and conscious sedation.

Strategic Management Consultant
She organises what goes on behind the scenes, so the clinic works better for everyone who visits. She has more than 18 years of experience in people, project and quality management. At Neodente, she monitors the clinic's performance indicators, organises processes, develops internal projects and coordinates team training. The result is a more efficient clinic and a smoother experience for every patient.

For almost two decades she has supported the team and the clinic's patients. She recently completed a 12-month dental assisting course. A versatile presence, both at reception and in the surgeries, always with the same aim: excellent patient care.

Our founder, Dr Cláudio Catran, still sees patients every day, alongside dentists specialising in dental implants, oral surgery, orthodontics and paediatric dentistry. We have cared for more than 3,900 patients, and 40 new patients continue to join us every month.
